Free Champion Rotation April 12-18: Aurelion Sol and Jhin

The new free champion rotation will start tomorrow and end on April 12. Check out what 10 champions are available during that time.
With the weekend being over, that means we will be getting 10 new champions in the free rotation tomorrow.
The current rotation is made up of Ezreal, Illaoi, Jarvan IV, LeBlanc, Poppy, Rek’Sai, Thresh, Varus, Zilean and Zyra. None of these champions are broken or extremely overpowered, so it should have been a nice and safe week in the normals queue. You still have until tomorrow to give these guys a run if you were unable to do so during the past week.
Once those 10 champions head out the door tomorrow, the will be replaced with: Aurelion Sol, Caitlyn, Fiddlesticks, Galio, Jhin, Kha’Zix, Leona, Maokai, Nami and Ryze.
This will be Aurelion Sol has been our for a little over two weeks, and this will be his first time on the rotation. Things were rough for the dragon when he first came out. It has taken people a lot of time to learn him, and Aurelion Sol is finally getting into a better place.

He was being played in the jungle a lot when he first came out, but that dream is practically dead at this point. Aurelion Sol has made the middle lane his home, and according to champion.gg, he has a 50.37 percent win rate at the position (2.23 percent play rate, 14.14 percent ban rate)
Speaking on new champions, Jhin is in the rotation for a second time since his release. He wasn’t in that good of a place when he first hit the rotation, but things have changed since then. Jhin has become one of the strongest attack damage carry champions in the game with a 52.0 win percentage, and he sees a lot of action in champion select: 19.93 percent play rate and a 7.78 percent ban rate.
