Free champion rotation 7/12-7/18: Aurelion Sol and more

The latest free champion rotation will start tomorrow and end on July 18.

As Monday comes to an end, so will the current free champion rotation of Bard, Galio, Graves, Jinx, Karthus, Master Yi, Wukong, Rek’Sai, Teemo and Thresh.

Don’t be bummed out, though, because a new rotation will come out tomorrow that consists of Aurelion Sol, Illaoi, Leona, Nami, Quinn, Sejuani, Shen, Sivir, Twisted Fate and Vi.

Needless to say, that is a very exciting group of champions.

Aurelion Sol is still fairly new to the game, and he wasn’t in that good of a place the last time he was in the rotation. Things have changed, however, and the dragon is now a very strong pick in the mid lane. He has a high win rate in dynamic queue and is even seen in professional play from time to time.

Speaking of fairly new champions, Illaoi is arguably stronger than she’s ever been before. Riot finally gave her the proper changes to turn her performance around, and that has turned her into one of the best top lane champions in the game.

Aurelion Sol and Illaoi are strong, but the strongest champion from this rotation is none other than Leona.

The support has been dominating as of late and currently has the second-highest win rate in the entire game (55.51 percent). She’s also a great champion for the rotation because she is so easy to play. If you are looking to learn how to play support, and with a champion that likes to initiate, Leona is a great champion to try out.

Nami, Shen, Sivir and Twisted Fate are also great champions for anyone to try out.
