Improving in League means getting rid of your ego

Improving in League of Legends requires a lot of time, patience, and dedication. Above all else, however, is to leave your ego at the door.

For Summoners to continue honing their craft in League of Legends with their favorite champions, it all comes down to a few things towards success. Lots of time, patience, and execution will get many to where they’d like to be in League. However, what separates contenders from pretenders is how they handle their ego when in the Fields of Justice.

Never believe you’re better than anyone else as League is all about working together as a team. Teamwork is the essence of League since the best of the best all work together towards greatness. They constantly communicate with each other in all facets of a match and make sure the team succeeds in the grand scheme of things.

You can be the greatest Mid laner or give the best healing in Support, but it won’t mean much if you don’t put the team before yourself. Individual stats won’t mean much of anything if the end result is a loss.

Having your ego in check is incredibly important since it will not only help you be a great team player but also earn you more friends. One of the few secrets in getting better as a Summoner is to surround yourself with good players.
