Heading into the Spring Split, League of Legends made a wise decision when it came to expanding their champion ban number to ensure better matchups.

With the Spring Split coming towards the end of January to League of Legends, they made some serious changes to the professional scene. League has officially announced that there will be a 10-ban champion selection for professional play.

This change makes a ton of sense in the grand scheme of things. Not only will it enable professional players from all across the world to have a few more champions mastered but it will ensure we won’t be seeing the same characters over and over again.
