Smart changes made with in-game League chromas
League of Legends made some smart changes with how they handle in-game chromas.
Who doesn’t love new skins in League of Legends? Make no mistake about it, it’s one of the best features of the game and really shows fellow Summoners and opponents you truly love your champion. Recently, some smart changes were made as to how to acquire them.
Right off the bat, Summoners are no longer restricted to buy chromas in packaged deals. You’re not able to purchase them individually but a bundle would still give you a better discount. They’ve redone the designs as well, making them sharper and standing out further in the Fields of Justice.
Best of all, Summoners won’t have to solely rely on Riot Points as new chromas will be launching every month and eligible for an Influence Points sale twice a year. The bi-annual chromas sales will allow you to own the full spectrum of a favorite skin at 2,000 Influence Points.

Chromas will now be part of Riot Games “Early Sales” which means they’ll go for about 195RP. With the League client, Summoners will be able to see when they’re about to go on sale, just like with skins and champions.
League has also made chromas eligible to be gifted to your friends and family. What better birthday gift or even an early Valentine’s Day idea than chromas for those in your life?
The possibilities are endless and at the end of the day, is a smart step in the right direction. Players love having the ability to change the look of the champions they invest endless hours in towards being the very best they can be.
