Breaking down possibilities of a Galio rework in League
Galio, the Sentinel’s Sorrow, might very well get a rework in League of Legends which would revitalize one of the more interesting champions.
It looks like the developer team of League of Legends has some big plans to rework Galio over time. In a developer’s blog update, Reav3 recently mentioned how Galio was in their crosshairs for a rework. Here is what he had to say:
"I’m happy to announce that after looking into a few projects, we finally got a solid direction on the next project that Team B will roll onto after Yorick. It’s the champion people love to forget, Galio! Currently Galio has a lot of problems. His theme, gameplay, and art hasn’t aged very well at all."
Needless to say, it’s very true. Galio is usually a top/mid laner champion but at the end of the day, has lost a lot of appeal by Summoners. If they can do to Galio what they did with Warwick, it will be very exciting to see what he’ll be able to do once all is said and done.

After his rework, Warwick has added a whole new dimension to the Fields of Justice. Everything from his new abilities to overall look has been fantastic. Considering how important League is trying to make characters from Demacia, they should be able to turn Galio into a better representation of the incredible lore.
Since his whole theme is of being a statue, League should be able to make him have updated abilities that go well with his backstory. Perhaps they can rework his ultimate or give him another passive ability that gives champions around him more support. Recently, Galio has been doing well in a Support role so this could be a great way to give him more versatility in that aspect.
