League set to feature 2017 Mid-Season Invitational in Brazil

The Mid-Season Invitational has been set by League of Legends as in 2017, it will officially take place in Brazil.

It looks like the ever popular Mid-Season Invitational 2017 tournament of League of Legends will be featured in Brazil! Taking place from April 28th – May 21, the Mid-Season Invitational will take place in Sao Paul and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

As per League, 13 Esports teams will take place at MSI as it promises to have some incredible matchups featuring the best professional teams in the world. New this season is League awarding different seeds of previous Esports competitions into this year’s MSI.

The top four regions will claim the top seeds and will duke it out at MSI. Speaking of teams, here are all those participating:

  • Brazil
  • China
  • Commonwealth of Independent States
  • Europe
  • Japan
  • Korea
  • Latin America – North (LAN)
  • Latin America – South (LAS)
  • North America (NA)
  • Oceania (OCE)
  • Southeast Asia (SEA)
  • Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau (LMS)
  • Turkey (TUR)

Last year’s MSI saw a milestone in a League tournament as Counter Logic Gaming of North America made it. They fell short against the amazing SK Telecom T1 of South Korea but to see a North American team make the final cut bodes well for their chances this time around.
