Latest Cho’Gath changes should terrify you in League
With their latest patch update, Cho’Gath got some major buffs, a slight nerf, and well, should terrify you if you’re going up against him in League of Legends.
In their latest 7.4 patch update, League of Legends brought a ton of buffs, nerfs, and added some pretty cool new features. Many champions saw some big changes to their utility or damage output but one particular champion got a pretty huge (literally) update. Cho’Gath, the Terror of the Void, just got even more frightening.
Mostly used as a tanky top laner, Cho’Gath has lost some of his popularity as of late by not being a solid option for such a role. League noticed this and brought some exciting changes to his ultimate ability, Feast.
Feast basically allowed Cho’Gath to eat an enemy which dealt massive damage. If it was a killing blow, he would grow in size and gain more health. It used to cap at six stacks but now, League made it so there is no more cap. He also won’t lose stacks upon death as it remains with him throughout the entire match.

Now, Cho’Gath seems like a more viable champion to master since this ability could be a game-changer late in longer than usual matches. It’s a change that should terrify opponents and see him often getting banned in champion select since it’ll be a headache to deal with later on in matches.
But of course, with buffs come nerfs. His ultimate now rocks but he did lose some of his overall attack power and health sustainability as Feast won’t be healing him like it used to anymore. It makes sense since if they didn’t make the right balancing, Cho’Gath would have undoubtedly been overpowered.
Overall, Cho’Gath should now see more Summoners giving him a chance to see how he holds his own in the Fields of Justice. What are your thoughts on the latest update to Cho’Gath? Leave your comments below!
