In their latest patch update, League of Legends made some pretty smart changes to the “All Random All Mid” game mode.

Who doesn’t love ARAM (All Random All Mid) in League of Legends? The popular game mode recently got some major changes in the latest 7.8 Patch Update. The main emphasis was improving the overall speed of ARAM matches so they’re more focused on pushing through to the end rather than the game of cat and mouse with everyone waiting for someone to run into their first of many deaths.

With changes to gold, health, minions spawning faster, and a plethora of poros, ARAM is now faster than ever before. It’s a very fun mode for players since now, besides potentially learning new champions, it’s a great way to break up the routine of constantly playing the usual Summoner’s Rift.

The best change to ARAM is how minions not only spawn quicker but also come out in bigger waves. This makes them harder to kill as even super minions are stronger and take longer to kill. Plus you no longer have to get the final hit on a minion to get gold since as long as you’re near one as they die, you’ll still get three gold.

Champions near super minions also get a 20 percent movement speed when out of combat so taking down towers should happen even faster now in ARAM. Summoners should see all the significant changes leading to faster matches the moment they’re a few minutes in.

Since it’s Double IP weekend, now is the perfect time to fire up some ARAM and enjoy everything it has to offer. If you’re lucky enough to land Draven, the Glorious Executioner in ARAM, here’s a quick guide on mastering him since he’s a ton of fun in this game mode. If not, he’s free to play this week in the champion rotation.

Overall, these changes are fantastic to ARAM as League of Legends continues to give their community great updates that listen to feedback on improving the game. If you have some great memories in ARAM, please share them below in our comments section!
