Corki is top free champion to play in May Week 1
With the weekend finally here, Corki, the Daring Bombardier, is the top free champion to play in League of Legends for May Week 1.
Ah yes, the weekend has finally arrived. After a long week, nothing is more relaxing than playing League of Legends over the weekend with friends and family. With this week’s free champion rotation out, it’s a great time to try out new champions. Especially if Corki, everyone’s favorite bombardier, is available to use.
Corki is perfect for the mid lane or even as an ADC in the bottom lane for those that enjoy a ranged damage dealing champion. His kit is pretty fun once you unlock all his abilities even though he’s a little slow to start out with at first in a match.
His Ultimate, Missile Barrage, is excellent for Summoners that want to be able to make a big impact when finishing up kills on fleeing enemy champions. Its cooldown isn’t long at all as you can send so many missiles at enemy champions that it cuts them off each and every time if they try to escape with barely any health left.

Corki has a good enough damage output that last-hitting minions are easily done thanks to abilities like Valkyrie and Gatling Gun. For those of you that plan to give him a try this weekend, make sure to stack up on these runes: Greater Mark of Attack Damage, Greater Glyph of Magic Resist, Greater Seal of Scaling Health, and Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage.
Overall, definitely give Corki a try over the weekend since once you get used to his ability rotation, he can be a whole lot of fun to play with. Plus, if you do end up enjoying everything he brings to the table, he has an amazing arcade skin which is great for those retro gamers out there.
