Breaking down rewards in new Honor capsules
Earning the new Honor capsules in League of Legends is easy to do provided you continue to be positive and friendly throughout matches regardless of the outcome.
Patch update 7.13 has officially dropped and a new Honor system has been introduced in League of Legends. Now you’re able to earn a new Honor level, key fragments, and loading screen flairs the more you positively impact a match whether you win or lose. In addition to all that, new Honor capsules are now able to be collected.
To open an Honor capsule, all you need is two key fragments. These are key-free loot chests that have an opportunity to earn more key fragments, champion shards, and even Honor-exclusive skins. At this point in time, Medieval Twitch and Grey Warwick are the only Honor-exclusive skins that are available with more coming over time.
In the event, you have both Honor-exclusive skins and champions, you’ll get champion shards instead. Either way, these new Honor capsules will have something for everyone and will entice the community to play their respective roles and champions to the best of their abilities.

If you earn any of the aforementioned skins, you’ll also unlock its respective champion too if it’s not in your collection.
Honor capsules only drop once you hit Honor level 3 as to which they’ll drop randomly. They’ll be added to your account and when that happens, you’ll get a pop-up notification letting you know it’s in your Loot tab.
Overall, this is a great step in the right direction for League of Legends. Not only will it help purify the community from toxic players but reward those that enjoy a good match even if they lose.
