Heading into the weekend, Kindred, the Eternal Hunters, is the top free champion to play. If you’re looking for a new jungler to try out, give Kindred a shot.

In the second week of July, the free champion rotation in League of Legends features several top lane, jungle, and bottom lane characters to choose from. As always, it’s good to not only master your primary role in League of Legends but also practice a secondary role in case you don’t get what you prefer.

Heading into the weekend, it’s a great time to give Kindred, the Eternal Hunters, a shot to see if you enjoy their unique kit. Excelling in the jungle role, Kindred so far has a 51.05 percent win rate due to how fast the champion can clear the jungle and do well when ganking.

The main part of Kindred’s kit is her passive, Mark of the Kindred. It puts a mark on a target that if a Summoner kills four, permanently increases their basic attack range. Besides that, Kindred’s kit is all about dishing out a plethora of damage and again, having the upper hand when engaging in team fights.

Kindred’s ultimate, R – Lamb’s Respite, puts a zone around the champion and nothing inside of it can die, even if an enemy team hits you with everything they got. Once the spell is over, all units are healed which in the grand scheme of things, is such a game changing ability when going all in on a 5v5 team fight.

More from Champion Rotation

For Summoners that have never played as Kindred, make sure to stack a lot of Attack Damage and Attack Speed.

For items, build Enchantment: Warrior, Berserker’s Grave, and depending on your playstyle, go with either Lord Dominik’s Regards or the Bloodthirster.

Overall, give Kindred a shot over the weekend if you’ve never played as one of the top jungle champions in the game. You’d be surprised how their kit is since it’s all about damage, execution, and keeping teammates alive in the heat of battle.
