League adds four new champions to Nexus Siege game mode
The popular Nexus Siege mode is back in League of Legends but now has four new champions added to the mix.
When it comes to the Nexus Siege mode in League of Legends, it’s a ton of fun to play. Besides having your preferred champions do battle in this game mode, it’s all about the siege weapons and dishing out damage to enemy bases using them.
At this point in time, the Nexus Siege game mode is live and running until Tue., Oct. 3, 2017, at 4:00 a.m. PT. Don’t worry if you don’t get a chance to enjoy some matches in Nexus Siege since it’ll also be back on Fri., Oct. 6, 2017, until Tue., Oct. 10, 2017.
Thanks to patch update 7.19, developers have added some new champions, features, and several bugfixes to this game mode. Now, Summoners can also take Xayah, Rakan, Kayn, and Ornn into Nexus Siege.
Kayn’s famous E – Shadow Step is now usable in the Nexus Siege’s walls. For all you Ornn mains out there, he can forge his famous deployables from anywhere on the map. Talk about convenience, eh?

If you’ve never given this game mode a try, definitely check it out with friends during the weekend. It’s basically a game of who can destroy an enemy base first using siege weapons. It’s a relatively fast game mode which can last anywhere between 20-30 minutes tops.

Whichever team destroys an opposing base first wins. Having played several Nexus Siege several times myself, it’s a great experience to sit and enjoy as you can string a good amount of matches in a short period of time. Plus it helps break up the routine of only doing matches in the Summoner’s Rift which after a while, is nice to do something different in League of Legends.
