Live concert announced for Worlds in November

League of Legends has officially announced a live concert to take place in China in honor of the Worlds 2017 tournament.

When it comes to gaming, music is such an integral part of the overall experience, it’s what ties everything together. League of Legends is no stranger to that since every year they feature an amazing theme song to go with their Worlds 2017 tournament.

For this year, the official theme song is “Legends Never Die” by Against The Current which captures the tournament perfectly. Before the actual finals take place, League of Legends has announced a live concert that will take place in honor of Worlds.

Taking place on Fri., Nov. 3, 2017, this special concert will take place in Beijing, China at 7:30 p.m. local time (GMT +8) and at 4:30 a.m. PST. It’s recommended if you’re watching from here in North America, make sure to brew a hot cup of coffee to stay awake to see the concert live.

This concert will take place in the Beijing, China at the Beijing National Aquatics Center in the Water Cube. Scheduled to appear are Alan Walker, Mako, Pentakill, The Crystal Method, Yundi, PG One, Nicki Taylor, Lunity, Albert Chang, TJ Brown, Rainbow Chamber Singers, DJ Xu Meng Yuan, and the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra.

More musicians will be added as the concert approaches as it promises to be a great show. Many of the popular songs from the League of Legends music library will be played as one better believe a heavy dosage of Pentakill songs will be performed as well. Especially with their second album coming out this year.

The concert will be about 90 minutes long and will be live streamed via LoL Esports and the official League of Legends Facebook page. Keep in mind that the concert will also be re-aired several times so don’t worry if you miss it the first time!
