Blog of Legends Patch 9.3 tier list compilation

A new patch means a new tier list. Now that Patch 9.3 has hit Summoner’s Rift, the Patch 9.3 tier list follows. Who hits the top of the rankings?
Patch 9.3 brought a slew of changes. With big nerfs to Aatrox and Akali, smaller nerfs to Lissandra and Sion, and changes to all critical strike items, there are sure to be a lot of changes in our Patch 9.3 tier list. Which champions and roles have risen and fallen?
Top
S tier: Yasuo
A tier: Riven, Yorick, Jayce, Sion, Kled, Jax, Nasus, Darius, Urgot, Illaoi, Vladimir, Fiora, Kennen, Quinn, Malphite, Gangplank
B tier: Wukong, Garen, Renekton, Teemo, Rumble, Camille, Irelia, Pantheon, Volibear, Viktor, Rengar, Lissandra, Maokai, Singed, Shen
C tier: Swain, Aatrox, Poppy, Tahm Kench, Cho’Gath, Cassiopeia, Sylas, Tryndamere, Dr. Mundo, Kayle, Akali, Vayne, Mordekaiser, Gnar, Olaf, Ornn, Karma, Heimerdinger, Ryze
D tier: Malzahar, Trundle
Most buffed champion: Tahm Kench. Honorable mentions, Irelia, Yorick, Volibear.
Most nerfed champion: Akali. Honorable mentions, Aatrox, Poppy, Camille.
In the Patch 9.3 notes, Riot took a heavy shot at both Akali and Aatrox. Welp, it seems to have worked. Both have now fallen to the C tier in our amalgamated rankings, from A tier.

Another, surprising, drop in the tier list is Poppy, who dropped from the A tier to C tier as well. Despite not seeing direct nerfs and tanks generally being favored in a more scaling ADC meta (more on that later), Poppy should be doing well. Part of the reason for her fall in the rankings is due to disagreement between rankings; two of the rankings we use don’t even have Poppy listed.
No top laners rose significantly in the rankings this patch, although juggernauts like Yorick, Nasus, and Darius all seem to be faring well in this patch. We also see plenty of hyper-carries being highly-prized, with Yasuo as the only S tier top, and Riven, Jayce, Jax, Vlad, Fiora, Quinn, and GP in the A tier.
