League of Legends Patch 9.7 tier list: ADC edition

Which carry in the bot lane is ranked best and worst in League of Legends in our latest tier list for Patch 9.7?

Once again, we return to give you our tier list aggregation for Patch 9.7. As in the past, we create this tier list by aggregating data from multiple other sites’ tier lists to give the average ranking of each League of Legends champion in their respective position.

For the bot lane, there were no direct buffs or nerfs to the relevant champions, although some rune and item changes certainly have the potential to shake things up. Who rose and fell in our latest tier list?

S tier: Vayne

A tier: Jinx, Draven, Sivir, Kai’Sa, Lucian, Ashe, Miss Fortune, Caitlyn, Ezreal, Twitch, Jhin

B tier: Xayah, Tristana, Kog’Maw

C tier: Varus, Kalista, Neeko

D tier: Yasuo

As is always the case when a champion rises without a direct or indirect buff we look to see what the trends are with regards to her rankings on the tier lists. In this case, more and more tier lists are rating MF as an A tier champion than the last patch, when more than one had her rated as C tier. Consensus thus seems to be coalescing on the position that she is a strong champion, rather than all the tier lists bumping her up.

Ashe (B tier to A tier)

That is the case with Ashe, who simply has more tier lists ranking her as A tier than the last patch when most of them had her rated as a B tier champion. U.gg even rates Ashe as S tier in Patch 9.7.

It also helps that she isn’t rated lower than C tier in any ranking. Whereas in the last patch she was ranked in the D tier by Op.gg, now the site has her rated as C tier, which is a vast improvement.

Falling champions

Neeko (B tier to C tier)

Neeko is still suffering the effects of the nerfs to her attack speed in Patch 9.5 and Patch 9.6. Unsurprisingly, that makes her a less-than-favorable champion in the bot lane and I would expect that she will continue to be brought down in future patches.

Kalista (B tier to C tier)

Kalista not only fell on just about every tier list from last patch (at least in the ones where she wasn’t already in the D tier), she wasn’t even ranked by Tierlist.gg. Of the marksmen rated in the bot lane role, Kalista is now the worst. By a large margin.
