League of legends: Top 4 ways to utilize Mordekaiser ult
By Alexej Vogel
With Mordekaiser’s reworked kit teased recently, we’re going to take a look at how his ult can be used once he’s released onto League of Legends.
Since Riot has released the Mordekaiser rework many have been sending enemies into the Shad-sorry, Death Realm. Let’s take a look at the top four uses for his new ultimate in League of Legends.
Supporting

When fighting in the bottom lane the level six power spike can often decide over winning or losing the match-up. In this case, Mordekaiser can simply isolate either support or ADC giving his laning partner an advantage in the skirmish.
Potentially, he could save his ADC by sending the enemy damage dealer into the Death Realm, isolating him completely from Summoner’s Rift. On the other hand, he could leave the ADC all alone by ulting the support, leaving the squishy carry vulnerable and alone.
Counter Ganking
Since his abilities still enable to heal/shield himself over and over again, jungling is definitely a position Mordekaiser mains will be looking into. These days having an efficient route alongside smart ganks is not enough, though, counter ganking is the key to win. Many junglers top-tier junglers in pro play like Sejuani, Gragas, or Skarner only offer the CC to lock the target down during a gank. This makes them vulnerable to Mordekaiser when they get dragged to the Death Realm to 1v1 the Iron Revenant – if he is level six already, of course.
Helping to steal Drake/Nashor
Securing objectives definitely is a high priority in League of Legends, especially in competitive play. Stealing a Baron or key Dragon often times turns a game around completely when done in the late-game. With his new ultimate, Mordekaiser can isolate the enemy jungler from said aims, allowing his team to secure the buff and potentially even win the game.
Isolating the carry in the late-game
Everybody has been in this situation before: you and your team perform an awesome play, burst down the enemy jungler and confidently walk into the Baron pit. Then, suddenly, the enemy’s super-fed Draven or Azir comes around and before you have any chance to flash out of the way he’s already one-shot you. Mordekaiser can prevent his team from this suffering isolating any high DPS dealer from killing his mates – at least as long as he survives himself, I guess.
