For those of you struggling to figure out how to conquer League of Legends’ newest game mode, Teamfight Tactics, we’re going to let you know which classes you should be building.
Right now, we’re in the wild west of Teamfight Tactics. While most of us have a pretty good idea of how the classes work in conjunction with each other, and which of our favorite League of Legends champions fit into those classes, we’re not sure which ones to be building and which to be avoiding.

Never fear, good Tacticians! Here is a breakdown of all the different classes in Teamfight Tactics, which ones you should be practicing, and why:
10. Shapeshifter
What it does: On transform gain 100 percent max HP.
Requirement: Three (3) champions.
Eligible champions: Nidalee (1g), Elise (2g), Shyvana (3g), Gnar (4g), Swain (5g)
Reason for rank: There are two big problems with Shapeshifters. First, it’s hard to get to the three unique champions in order to get the bonus. Nidalee and Elise may be common, but you’ve gotta wait until at least Level 5 or 6 before you start getting a decent chance to get Gnar or Shyvana.
The second problem is that the Shapeshifter bonus only kicks in once they transform. That means they need to get their mana bar fully charged, which means they either need attack speed to stack their mana or survivability to live long enough for their mana to be recharged or both. In any case, this class is entirely too dependent on getting good items early.
