6. Dragon’s Claw
What it does: Gain 83% resistance to magic damage.
Recipe: Negatron Cloak + Negatron Cloak
Works well on: Rangers
Reason for rank: The best upgrade for your Negatron Cloak, hands down. Gaining this much MR against any team that is ultimate dependent (Sorcerers or Elementalists) on your DPS threat can single-handedly turn a fight. If you ever get two Negatron Cloaks, don’t even hesitate to cash them in.

5. Morellonomicon
What it does: Spells burn damage equal to 2.5% of enemy maximum health per second.
Recipe: Giant’s Belt + Needlessly Large Rod
Works well on: Sorcerers, Elementalists
Reason for rank: Doing a percent of the enemy’s max health is always going to be great against tankier compositions. It does have the limitation of only applying to spell damage, so definitely make sure you’re putting it on a champion who is getting their ult up a lot.
4. Guinsoo’s Rageblade
What it does: Attacks grant 3% attack speed, stacking infinitely.
Recipe: Needlessly Large Rod + Recurve Bow
Works well on: Rangers, Gunslingers, Glacial, Exile
Reason for rank: The premiere attack speed item in the game, it gives all the stats you want on a DPS threat including getting your ultimate ability up more often. This is the best upgrade for a Needlessly Large Rod, so slap one on your best DPS threat, hope you get the Recurve Bow, and profit.
