League of Legends: LEC Week 6 Player Power Rankings
The League of Legends European Championship (LEC) has entered the second round robin in the regular season. As it stands, zero teams are locked in for any positions and anything can change before playoffs. So which players are set to carry their teams up the standings in Week 6?
Following the fifth week of European League of Legends action, G2 Esports are once again perched at the top of the table. The defending LEC champions look set to reclaim their crown in September’s Athens finals, but Fnatic and Splyce are close behind waiting to pounce on any slip-up.

Elsewhere in Week 5, Origen continued to disappoint after a loss to Team Vitality and have stiff competition for World Championship qualification. The fight for playoffs heated up once again with the likes of Rogue, Schalke 04, and SK Gaming all battling it out for 5th and 6th. And Misfits Gaming new-look roster picked up the organisation’s third win of the Summer Split in an exciting clash against Rogue. Oh, and Excel remain in 10th.

5 Jun-hyung “Profit” Kim (Rogue)
6 Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet (Team Vitality)
7 Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu (Schalke 04)

3. OG Alphari
While the likes of Caps, Perkz, and Wunder take all the plaudits for their game-changing plays and are constantly in the discussion for “best player in Europe”, Origen’s Barney “Alphari” Morris surely takes the mantle of “most consistent in Europe”. For what seems like years now, the British top laner has been amongst the highest performing players in the league, first at Misfits Gaming, and now for Origen.
It’s no secret that Origen’s game plan revolves around a slow-paced early game to eke out small advantages across the map before cleanly closing in the late game. More often than not, this involves OG’s top laner being left on an island in a 1v1 or 1v2 with limited resources. And how often do you see Alphari lose lane? Almost never. It’s this consistency that helped guide Origen to the Spring Split final in their first attempt and could see the team rise to Worlds success this autumn.
10. MSF Dan Dan
Unfortunately, due to only playing two games on the LEC stage, the new members of Misfits Gaming might seem unfairly treated in these power rankings. However, given their impressive performance and victory against Rogue on Sunday, as well as the potential for these rookies to reach playoffs, there’s no reason why they can’t rise up the ranks in the coming weeks.
Particularly Danny “Dan Dan” Le Comte, who after just two games of LEC play time has already picked up a Player of the Game award and potentially a target ban throughout the Summer Split. The Misfits’ top laner’s ability to maintain pressure on a side lane through his split pushing Jax, as well as excellent teamfighting and a Baron steal to top it off, secured his team their first victory since Week 2 against Rogue on Sunday.
