Lore
The creature known as Brand was once a member of the Freljord who burned his village to the ground after their mistreatment during his youth. Fleeing the scene, he was taken in by a mysterious mage, who attempted to control the young boy’s wild and vicious nature.
Master and apprentice set out on a journey to discover the legendary World Runes, the source of all magical power in the world. Against his master’s warnings, the man attempted to seize one of the legendary World Runes. Upon taking this prize, his soul burned away as his body a vessel of living flame. Brand now roams Valoran in search of other Runes, swearing revenge for wrongs he could never possibly have suffered in a dozen mortal lifetimes.
