League of Legends: Three new Little Legends join TFT
As the popularity of Teamfight Tactics continues to skyrocket, Riot Games have continued to pile in additions to the game. This time, it’s three cute, new Little Legends!
As it stands, Silverwing tops our Teamfight Tactics Little Legends tier list, but that might soon be set to change as three more cute cosmetics will be hitting the TFT arena soon!

Following the news from Patch 9.15 that Teamfight Tactics will become a permanent fixture on the League of Legends client, as well as the introduction of a new Hextech origin, we’ve been treated yet again with a PBE update involving three new Little Legends. You can currently try out these cute, little critters on the Public Beta Environment, or you can wait until Patch 9.16 (scheduled for August 14th) when they will be added to live servers!
So, let’s take a look at the three Little Legends and the numerous varieties that will be joining Teamfight Tactics soon:
The Moontipped Hushtail
The first of the three is somewhat of a cat/fox hybrid with large, floppy ears and a huge, furry tail. While it remains to be seen whether this Little Legend will fly straight into the top of the standings in our tier list, it will certainly be competing in terms of cuteness.
According to Riot’s description of the Hushtail, it can take on “many forms” and can often be difficult to spot. Always be on the look out for its bushy tail to recognise the cute creature and its many varieties, listed below:
- Mistberry Hushtail
- Fae Hushtail
- Untamed Hushtail
- Monarch Hushtail
- Eternal Hushtail
The Jade Paddlemar
Possibly the chillest addition to the long list of Little Legends so far, the Jade Paddlemar is about as cool as you can get. A lazy turtle with nothing on its mind except for a quick slumber, we can all relate to the Paddlemar.
Apparently the aquatic Little Legend aspires to one day “sail the skies” along with its elders, but I don’t think that’s the case judging by how sleepy he looks. In fact, this seems to be the case with all its variations that you can check out on the PBE right now:
- Rosebloom Paddlemar
- Tidepool Paddlemar
- Glamorous Paddlemar
- Caldera Paddlemar
- Yuletide Paddlemar
The Jeweled Protector
Depending on your opinion, the third of these new Little Legends could be cutest addition to Teamfight Tactics, or the most badass. It’s dog-like nature will certainly have canine lovers leaping to their wallets to purchase the Protector as soon as Patch 9.16 drops.
The Protector’s unique tail and gems found on its forehead and spine make it one of the more interesting additions to the Little Legends squad. On top of that, the many variations on the PBE range from a tiger-like chroma to a completely purple skin:
- Shadowgem Protector
- Reigning Protector
- Skygem Protector
- Fierce Protector
- Sunborn Protector
