Falling Champions

Zed (S to A+ tier)

In contrast to other champions we discussed, Zed’s win rate dropped below 50% for the first time in the last five patches. He seems to have a lot of trouble dealing with those AD bruisers entering his domain like Kled and Camille.

Malzahar (A+ to A tier)

Almost a 1% win rate drop for Malzahar from 9.14, who also is having difficulty facing Kled.

Diana (A to B+ tier)

More from Blog of Legends

Her win rate didn’t drop, but after receiving some nerfs in 9.14 (and saw her ranking rise to its highest ever), this is probably a correction to her perceived power for many sites.

Zoe (A to B+ tier)

Zoe getting ranked in the A tier last patch was the highest she’d been in Season 9, so my guess is that it was a bit of an aberration ranking.

Neeko (B+ to B tier)

With her win rate falling by over 1%, it’s easy to understand this drop.

Lux (A to B tier)

She’s still recovering from those recent nerfs and sitting at a win rate below 48%.

Ekko (B+ to B tier)
Vel’Koz (B+ to B tier)

Both of these picks have had a win rate solidly around 51% for several patches now. But both also saw their win rates dropped to just at 50% in 9.15. We’ll keep an eye out and see if they rebounds next patch.

Rumble (B+ to B tier)
Cassiopeia (B+ to B tier)
Anivia (B+ to C tier)
Aurelion Sol (B to C tier)
Orianna (B to C tier)
Taliyah (B+ to C tier)
Veigar (B to C tier)
Ryze (C to D tier)

All of these champions have had stable win rates over the last few patches, and didn’t have an abnormally high rating last patch that would explain their change. They’re probably all just having small shifts in our tier list based on how other champions are being rated.

Aatrox (B+ to D tier)

Aatrox, on the other hand, has dealt with a plethora of changes in recent patches. His win rate is over 50%, but it’s down about 0.8% from 9.14.

Azir (C to D tier)

After getting his highest ranking in our tier list in 9.14 (C tier, oof), it makes sense that his aggregated ranking would fall down to earth.

Karma (C to D tier)
Annie (B to D tier)

Annie jumped up to having the fifth-highest win rate in 9.14, but that has certainly stabilized. With only a 48.9% win rate in 9.15, she’s a far cry from near 53% winning percentage she had last patch.

Irelia (C to D tier)

No clue why Irelia dropped so heavily in the rankings, considering her win rate has been stable and her ranking last patch was right where it had been for several patches.

Karthus (D to F tier)
Camille (D to F tier)
Ziggs (D to F tier)
Viktor (D to F tier)
Heimerdinger (D to F tier)

None of these champions appear to have gotten significantly worse, win-rate wise. It’s more a function of there being more champions in the mid lane meta, forcing some down lower in the rankings. The fact that there are more sites we are pulling data from that can potentially knock them lower by not ranking them also doesn’t help.
