Support

Vincent “Biofrost” Wang vs. Terry “BIG” Chuong

Biofrost has been the most impressive support of anyone in the LCS this split. All due respect to CoreJJ, but he didn’t have to drag Stixxay through laning phase kicking and screaming. Think about this: while Stixxay averaged gold and XP deficits at 10 minutes, Biofrost averaged a 36 gold advantage as well as the biggest XP advantage of any support at that time.

Bio has also shown a great amount of champion diversity, with multiple games played on Lux, Tahm Kench, Rakan, and Yuumi. Of those four, the only pick I would say he is bad on is Tahm (25% win rate, 2.44 KDA, 55% KP) which really isn’t a problem since Tahm isn’t a high priority pick for BIG (meaning CLG shouldn’t feel pressured to pick it or waste a ban on it).

BIG, on the other hand, is the best support in the league that no one talks about. His KDA numbers are, to be frank, awful (1.51 aKDA and 92.3% aKP) but he has proven to be a great laner.

What he does, better than any other support though, is control vision. His 2.57 VSPM is second only to Olleh among supports which could be key to winning. Unfortunately for him, Biofrost is no slouch in terms of vision control himself and overall Bio is just a stronger player.

Advantage: CLG
