League of Legends: URF themed skin power rankings
By s. samek
The URF mode of League of Legends has hit the Rift for a limited time. Yet you can still have access to a little piece of URF through an URF themed skin set.
Manatees and spatulas have taken over the League of Legends and the Rift. While lots of people enjoy this mode, they often get disappointed as it shows up for a limited time then leaves. Yet if you want to keep a bit of the URF action with you at all times you can try one of the four skins themed to fast-paced kill or be killed Ultra Rapid Fire style gameplay. Here we have the ranking list for those skin options.
#4 Urfrider Corki
Forgot this skin even existed when I was looking up the URF skin lines. Even knowing that it is a thing it just isn’t that great looking. The splash art looks dated and the skin looks old. It is kind of funny to see a manatee fly, but it just isn’t that good of a skin. You’re better off with the much more colorful, light-hearted and funny Corgi skin if you want to fly an animal instead of a plane.
#3 URF the Manatee Warwick
This skin is a bit confusing. It looks so weird putting a funny, fun-loving manatee with big cute eyes on top of a blood-thirsty and nasty looking werewolf. It looks pretty good visually with gold and gray as a color scheme. It also has a pretty cool recall animation with the URF cannons and lighting hitting a golden spatula.

Yet the one thing that makes it fall on the list is how to obtain it.
The skin is only available for special events. It also costs a lot of resources as on sale during the essence emporium it cost 150,000 blue essence. That’s a lot of grinding games and saving up to get. I do think you can find this one in chests, but you would have to get pretty lucky to do so. Grab this one if you don’t need to buy anything with blue essence anymore, or get that lucky draw from a chest.
#2 Urf Kench
This skin has the right mix of fun and serious business out on the rift. The look on Kench’s face just has the stare of I’m going to eat you up in the with a side of fries way, not grandma’s kisses. Yet he dons a lobster bib and has his big tongue that flops out of his mouth that is just kind of goofy to look at.
His Q animation looks more like the lobster on his bib, but that seems to be the only change outside of the color and outfit. It’s goofy, but still fun and intimidating and I that’s why I rated it higher than Warwick. It’s also readily available for just 750 RP to get to use whenever you want to.
#1 Urf the Nami-tee
The Nami URF skin is super playful and light-hearted. It fits Nami well as a fish makes a pretty seamless transition to a manatee. She dons the spatula as a trident and it looks pretty funny but looks really cool. There is also an animation for this skin that has manatees jumping around her like a mini SeaWorld show that I really like.
To me, it’s just a fun skin that matches what URF mode is made for and that’s to have fun. URF Nami is also only 750 RP, which is a good deal for this fun skin.
So even if URF is a limited time game mode you can still have a small reminder of it with you at all times if you get one of these skins. Overall the set is a pretty fun one and worth checking into if you’re a fan of any of the champions listed, or you must have anything URF related.
