Senna

"Base Stats Health per Level: 85 -> 75. Passive – Absolution Soul Drop Chance on Minions Senna Kills: 5.55% -> 1.67% Q – Piercing Light Damage: 50/80/110/140/170 (+0.5 Bonus Attack Damage) -> 40/70/100/130/160 (+0.4 Bonus Attack Damage). W – Last Embrace Root Duration: 1.45/1.65/1.85/2.05/2.25 seconds -> 1.25/1.50/1.75/2.00/2.25 seconds. R – Dawning Shadow Damage Ratio: 0.4 Ability Power -> 0.5 Ability Power."

Check out our Patch 9.24 preview of these changes here! In short, expect ADC Senna to be much less powerful on Patch 9.24, while support Senna remains basically the same, albeit slightly nerfed. Much deserved for a champion that was hovering around 55% win rate for much too long.

Sivir

"Base Stats Attack Damage: 61 -> 63."

Sivir struggles to compete with other AD Carries in the current meta and could do with a slight push in the right direction. A +2 AD buff is exactly what she needs to increase her play rate and improve her ability in certain matchups, potentially pushing her up a tier on Patch 9.24.

Yuumi

"Passive – Bop ‘n’ Block Now restores 50-160 mana (based on level). Shield: 50-300 -> 60-400. Q – Prowling Projectile Mana Cost: 75/80/85/90/95/100 -> 85/90/95/100/105/110. Ratio: 0.45 Ability Power -> 0.3 Ability Power. Empowered Damage: 50/85/120/155/190/225 (+0.65 Ability Power) -> 50/95/140/185/230/275 (+0.4 Ability Power). Missile Duration: 3 seconds -> 2 seconds. W – You and Me Now has a 0.25 second channel time when attaching from an unattached state. Yuumi no longer follows Summoner Spell Teleport. Immobilizing Yuumi places this spell on a 5-second cooldown. Adaptive Force: Yuumi and her ally grant each other 5/7/9/11/13 + 4/7/10/13/16% of their respective Adaptive Force -> Yuumi increases her ally’s Adaptive Force by 12/14/16/18/20 + 12/14/16/18/20% and grants herself the same amount. E – Zoomies Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds -> 12/11/10/9/8 seconds. Mana Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 -> 100/115/130/145/160. Healing: 30/40/50/60/70 (+0.1 Ability Power) -> 70/110/150/190/230 (+0.3 Ability Power). Movement Speed: 25% -> 15%. Movement Speed no longer decays. No longer has charges. No longer has increased healing based on missing health. Now grants 25/30/35/40/45% Attack Speed. Buff Duration: 2 seconds -> 3 seconds."

This is a lot to read and break down, but all you need to know is that this is a nerf to the Prowling Projectile AP Yuumi that could slow and poke you down from across the screen, and a buff to enchanter Yuumi, the way she was designed to be.

More from Blog of Legends

Bop ‘n’ Block has a greater shield. Prowling Projectile costs more mana, has a lower AP ratio, and lasts just 2 seconds. You and Me is much less reliable and makes Yuumi vulnerable if hit by CC. Zoomies is the perfect enchanting ability now and with the healing plus Attack Speed changes, could see Yuumi return to the support role in a much different state on Patch 9.24.

Keep an eye out on how these changes affect the support meta throughout preseason as, while they won’t make Yuumi broken, will definitely have support mains checking her out and potentially picking her to boost the likes of Jinx, Tristana, and Sivir rather than other, less effective enchanters.

Listen, anything can be considered a step in the right direction when it comes to a 38.86% win rate champion (yes, you read that correctly).

Runes

Conqueror

"Ranged Champions Heal: 15% -> 8% of all damage dealt. Buff Duration: 8 seconds -> 6 seconds."

If there’s one thing that has plagued League of Legends during preseason, it’s Conqueror. Patch 9.23 updated the keystone and created a broken mess on bruiser top lane champions and ranged mage mid laners, resulting in a tonne of frustration from the community and leading to this change.

Long story short, it’s a small but effective nerf for top laners like Garen, Darius, and Mordekaiser who currently abuse the rune. It’s a significant nerf for ranged champions that have been using a loophole in the rune to take control of the mid lane, such as Aurelion Sol, Cassiopeia, and Azir.

These champions will now probably look for alternative keystones in the coming weeks and probably revert back to the likes of Electrocute or Phase Rush as their runes of choice. A 7% healing reduction for ranged champions basically reduces the rune’s effectiveness by half and will definitely have players looking for other options on Patch 9.24.

As a result, we can now judge Conqueror as a much less broken rune and something that only top laners (and a few junglers) can make use of, which is completely fair. It may still feel a bit overpowered at times on certain champions, but it’s clearly in a much more balanced state than it was on Patch 9.23.

Prototype Omnistone

Omnistone has been given a bunch of QoL changes to improve the utility of the rune and make it less useless in certain situations. Check out the patch notes for the full breakdown of each intuitive rune change!
