League of Legends: Ranking Every Single Lucian Skin

Here are the best skins to put on Lucian available in League of Legends!

Lucian players have plenty of skins to choose from when loading into a game of League of Legends. With six different skins available, it can be hard for an ADC main to know which skins to spend their hard-earned money on. To help you out, here is our ranking of every Lucian skin in League of Legends.

6. Hired Gun Lucian

Cost: 975 RP

It’s Lucian’s original release skin and, to be honest, it hasn’t aged well at all. Yeah, it has a couple of nice animations but it just looks very unpolished and clunky. The ability animations also somehow look worse than they do on his base skin, making this an easy pick for last place.

5. Striker Lucian

Cost: 750 RP

This is a legacy skin, meaning it is not always available, and truth be told it’s not a bad skin by any means. The soccer kit Lucian is wearing looks nice as do the animations. I’m just not sure Riot did enough with the soccer theme to make this a skin worth buying over all his other really good ones.

4. PROJECT: Lucian

Cost: 1350 RP

I adore the PROJECT skins, so it breaks my heart to have to rank one of them so low. Unfortunately, Lucian’s PROJECT skin is by far one of the most lackluster.

His animations do fit the PROJECT look, but they don’t feel as amped up as most of the other skins in the PROJECT line do and the new animations aren’t all that interesting. While fans of the PROJECT aesthetic will certainly want to pick up this skin, I don’t think it’s the best of the bunch for the Purifier.

3. Heartseeker Lucian

Cost: 1350 RP

A controversial opinion to have Heartseeker, one of the less-beloved skin lines, rated this highly, but I think the skin works really well for Lucian. As a character, he’s always come across as very controlled and sophisticated so this skin plays into that very well.

The Heartseeker skin does bring with it a few new animations but the animations on his abilities aren’t too impressive. If there were more new animations or the effects were cranked up, I could see this being ranked much higher.

2. High Noon Lucian

Cost: 1820 RP

You could easily put the High Noon skin at #1 and I wouldn’t try to argue with you. The skin itself is gorgeous, it brings a ton of cool animations (like him going full Ghost Rider during his ultimate channel), and the animations on his abilities look breathtaking. The topper of it all is that it also comes with a bunch of new champion interactions and voice lines, making this a skin easily worth buying.

Lucian himself looks like that Demonic Outlaw that we didn’t know we wanted but now desperately can’t get enough of. He is the new sheriff in town and you don’t want to draw with him.

1. Demacia Vice Lucian

Cost: 1350 RP

Despite all of the great qualities the High Noon skin had, I just cannot bring myself to not rank the Demacia Vice skin as Lucian’s best. I don’t know how to explain it other than the fact that he looks cool in this skin. Like an 80s villain mixed with Wesley Snipes’s Blade, the character just oozes cool.

The animations on this skin are what I wanted the PROJECT skin to have. Bright colors, clear animations, and some incredible little details like the 80s neon trail when he dashes. This skin is great in every way and I recommend it 100%.
