Champions

Rumble

"Base Stats Armor: 30.88 -> 31 Attack Damage: 61.036 -> 61 W – Scrap Shield Bonus Movement Speed: 20/25/30/35/40% (30/37.5/45/52.5/60% when enhanced) -> 15/20/25/30/35% (22.5/30/37.5/45/52.5% when enhanced) Shield: 80/110/140/170/200 -> 60/95/130/165/200"

Rumble is intended to be a niche pick for when a composition lacks magic damage or team fight utility. His incredibly impactful Equalizer in mid-late game team fights is supposed to be a reward for making it through a relatively weak early game unscathed. However, recently it’s become clear that Rumble’s laning phase isn’t as weak as it should be due to the shield and movement speed provided by Scrap Shield.

More from League of Legends

Reducing the stats on Rumble’s W not only increases his vulnerability early on but also makes his all-in less threatening as you can simply trade back and out-damage him when he Overheats without a shield.

All in all, this won’t be the end of Rumble, but it definitely makes it much more difficult to make it through the laning phase without being heavily targeted by the opposing jungler.

Sejuani

"Base Stats Bonus Attack Speed: 0 at level 1 -> 10% at level 1 Passive – Fury of the North Frost Armor Removal: Damage from epic monsters and enemy champions -> Damage from all monsters and enemy champions"

10% bonus attack speed at level 1 is ideal for Sejuani’s jungle clear and will almost certainly see her back in the meta in some form on Patch 10.3. Her utility is too strong to stay out of favor for long, so expect her to be back in the jungle conversation over the coming weeks and months.

Senna

"Passive – Absolution Mist Wraith Drop Chance: 20% on minions Senna doesn’t kill, 100% on cannon minions Senna kills -> 25% on minions Senna doesn’t kill, 1.67% on cannon minions Senna kills Mist Wraith Drop Chance (Spoils of War): Minion kills via Spoils of War (Relic Shield and Steel Shoulderguards UNIQUE) that Senna gets credit for now counts as kills by Senna, reducing the drop chance by 1.67%"

In an attempt to encourage more support Senna and less AD Carry Senna, the balance team have made the wise decision to buff the former and hardly touch the latter.

ADC Senna now loses 1 mist every 3 waves.

Sett

"Base Stats HP Regen: 9.25 -> 8 W – Haymaker Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 seconds -> 18/16.5/15/13.5/12 seconds Base Damage: 90/125/160/195/230 -> 90/120/150/180/210"

While we’re still adjusting to Sett’s kit and figuring out his strengths and weaknesses, it definitely makes sense to nerf a champion with a monstrous 56.05% win rate.

It’s hard to tell how these changes impact such a new champion, but all we do know is they make him weaker, which can only be a good thing.

Sona

"E – Song of Celerity Self Movement Speed: 25% (+0.04 per 100 ability power) -> 20% (+0.03 per 100 ability power)"

Sona’s Patch 10.2 buffs were intended to increase her self movement speed slightly to make her kit a touch more unique and allow her to get in range for a Crescendo. Sona’s Patch 10.2 buffs instead turned her into Usain Bolt.

These changes still mean she’s buffed from Patch 10.1, but not as crazily as we saw on the previous patch. Keep trying her out!

Yuumi

"Q – Prowling Projectile Empowered Damage: 50/95/140/185/230/275 (+0.4 ability power) -> 45/80/115/150/185/220 (+0.4 ability power) (+0.02-0.08 of target’s current health) Cost: 85/90/95/100/105/110 mana -> 90 mana at all ranks W – You and Me! [New] Silence no longer counts as an immobilizing effect that places You and Me! on a 5 second cooldown E – Zoomies Heal: 70/110/150/190/230 (+0.3 ability power) -> 70/100/130/160/190 (+0.04 ability power)"

From Prowling Projectile abuser to heal bot back to Prowling Projectile abuser. The balance team are desperate to make Yuumi work so we can see the full potential of a champion that doesn’t require a mouse and these changes are certainly a step in the right direction.

Dealing 220 + 40% AP + 8% of target’s current health with a single Q cast could be problematic, particularly when the cat’s got a few items under her collar, but we’ll wait and see how much damage it actually deals when the patch hit live servers this week.
