League of Legends: Patch 10.5 Top Lane Aggregated Tier List
By Josh Tyler
We take a look at the League of Legends top lane meta in Patch 10.4.
Patch 10.5 was Riot’s big swing at trying to make top lane more relevant. With a host of item changes, changes to turret plates resistances (so melee champions have an easier time taking plates early), and a few general buffs, bruisers and tanks seemed poised for a resurgence. We’ll take a look at how the top lane meta is in League of Legends this patch.

The reign of terror is finally over! Last patch Soraka fell to F tier but Sona was still in a strong spot. Now, in Patch 10.5, both of them have fallen out of our tier list entirely.
Sona was the top laner with the highest win rate in the last patch, but now Cassiopeia has taken over the top spot with a 54.4% win rate. She has under a 1% pick rate, but luckily our second-highest win rate top has a pick rate over 13%. That champion is Garen, who has a 54% win rate.
The worst champion in the top lane going by win rate is actually a champion not on our tier list. Kalista top has become a rising pick in Korea, but even in that region it has the worst win rate in the jungle with a 44.1% win rate. The other low win rate champions are Ryze, Akali, and Rumble.
Thanks to her high win rate, Cassiopeia is also the champion with the biggest increase in her tier list ranking, going from F tier to low-C tier. On the other hand, Lucian took the biggest hit to his ranking, dropping from mid-C tier down to the F tier.
