League of Legends: Patch 10.5 Jungle Aggregated Tier List
By Josh Tyler
We take a look at the League of Legends jungle meta in Patch 10.5.
After buffing some unconventional junglers in the previous patch, Riot took the opportunity in Patch 10.5 to hit some of the (perceived) stronger junglers in League of Legends. They also gave some love to some of those newer junglers in an attempt to keep them from falling out of the meta completely.

- As you can see, all but one of the junglers Riot attempted to add to the role in Patch 10.4 have fallen out of our tier list entirely one patch later. Only Mordekaiser remains, as the lowest-rated jungler (yes, Diana is on here too but she was already in the meta as a jungler so we’re not counting her).
- Lee Sin went from the A+ to the S tier in Patch 10.5, which represented the biggest increase in our ranking. On the other hand, Mordekaiser dropped the most in our ranking, though other off-meta junglers like Twitch and Diana also suffered heavy falls in our ranking.
- At 54.1%, Ivern currently has the highest win rate among all junglers. However, for champions with a significant (greater than 5%) pick rate, Zac actually leads the pack of the jungle with a 52.4% win rate.
- Diana currently has the worst win rate among junglers, at 46.2% with a sub-1% pick rate, indicating she is very weak in the role. Other junglers with low win rates are Gragas, Taliyah, and Sylas.
Buffed Champions
Graves
Graves got buffs to his MR and MR per level, along with mana cost and cooldown buffs to his End of the Line. These helped bring Graves up into the A tier and took his win rate to over 51% for the first time in five patches.
Kayn
Kayn desperately needed those increasing orb rate gains on his passive, and Riot threw in a buff to the slow on his Blade’s Reach for good measure, but it wasn’t enough to help the Darkin Scythe slash into the upper echelons of our tier list. He remains in the low-B tier with a bottom-five win rate that is actually down from last patch. Though, that could be because his pick rate more than doubled in Patch 10.5.
Mordekaiser
Riot must have seen all the same stats that other tier lists around the internet did, electing to buff Morde’s passive damage to jungle monsters. That didn’t keep him out of the F tier or from having an embarrassingly low win and pick rate.
Poppy
Poppy was added to the list of off-meta champions Riot is trying to bring into the jungle, as she got a buff to her Hammer Shock’s damage to non-champions. Poppy had already been in the meta as a jungler (similar to Diana) but she got only a modest increase to her rating after the buffs.
Nerfed champions
Amumu
After several patches of buffs (which never took Amumu into an overpowered spot in high elo, he only peaked at B tier), Riot decided to nerf the Sad Mummy’s ultimate cooldown. The end result is a slight dip to his ranking but a relatively insignificant drop of his win rate.
Rammus
I’m not sure why Riot felt that those previous buffs to Rammus’s attack speed were too much, but they elected to roll those back in Patch 10.5. Unsurprisingly, Rammus remains in the high-B tier and his win rate only dropped by 0.3% from the last patch.
Sett
Largely aimed at his top lane presence the nerfs to Sett also hurt his presence as a jungler, where he was being flexed a fair amount. He fell out of the A tier after the nerfs to his base stats and Show Stopper.
Methodology: These rankings were determined by finding the average standardized score of a champion from nine different tier lists from sites around the internet. This is done by assigning a certain weight to each different score, rank, or grade given by these sites (for instance, both a “Diamond” rating and “A” grade would be worth a 90 score). The standardized score is then determined by looking at the average score given to all champions in every role by that site as well as the standard deviation of scores given (so that sites that give out more high grades will not have their As be worth the same as a site that gives out very few high grades).
The full, underlying data can be found here. This link also includes the full listing of how the scores are assigned. Champions must be rated by at least half of the sites audited in order to qualify for our tier list.Le
