League of Legends: Patch 10.5 Support Aggregated Tier List
By Josh Tyler
We take a look at the League of Legends support meta in Patch 10.5.
With the rise of support champions going into the top lane, the latest League of Legends patch gave a bit hit to support items, making them worse when used in a solo lane. Riot also elected to pull some power from Mobi Boots in Patch 10.5, but did give Boots of Swiftness a little love. After all of that, here’s where the support meta sits.

The top of the tier list is largely unchanged, with engage supports (Leona, Thresh, Blitzcrank) still dominating along with Senna. However, the strongest enchanter support, Nami, has now risen into the S tier for the second time in Season 10.
Number one in our tier list, Senna had the biggest rise of any champion from the last patch, despite being comfortably in the S tier in 10.4. For an idea of how strong sites think Senna is, the difference in her ranking from her to Leona is bigger than the gap between Leona and Lulu, the ninth-rated support on our tier list.
Our biggest drop ranking-wise was actually Fiddlesticks. He remained in the C tier, but went from a high-C pick down to low-C in Patch 10.5.
The winningest support in Patch 10.5 is, surprisingly, Sona at 53.7%. It might seem natural for her to bounce up thanks to her buffs this patch, but given her previous spot in the top lane and all the changes that Riot has made to her in the past few patches I think her state in League of Legends is quite unstable. However, her pick rate is around 2%, so for the best win rate champion with a significant pick rate we have to go down to Bard (53.2% win rate, 7.1% pick rate).
At the bottom of the win rate table for supports is Xerath at 47% win rate and 2.5% pick rate. Other notable low win rate champions are Pyke (47.5% win rate, 10.8% pick rate) and Morgana (47.7% win rate, 7.9% pick rate).
