Observations

More from Blog of Legends

Thanks to a buff in Patch 10.6, Veigar has jumped up into the B tier of our mid lane tier list. He is one of the few buffed mid laners to move up a tier and he also had the biggest jump in our tier list.

On the other side, Sett fell the furthest of any mid laner in Patch 10.6, going all the way down to the F tier. He was mid-C tier in our last mid lane tier list.

Zilean has the highest win rate of any champion on our mid lane tier list at 54.1%, but he has a pick rate below 1%. For mid laners with a substantial (greater than 5%) pick rate, Talon is actually the best champion in terms of win rate (53.5%). And while Aurelion Sol had the highest win rate in the last patch, his win rate is stable from last patch.

Lucian currently has the lowest win rate of any mid laner (44.9%) and has a significant pick rate (2.9%). Other low-win rate champions include last patch’s bottom win rate champion, Irelia, along with Akali, Lux, and Ryze. The only one of those champions with a low pick rate is Lux (0.8% win rate).
