League of Legends Tier List: The Best ADCs in Patch 10.8
By Josh Tyler
Our latest League of Legends tier list for Patch 10.8 looks at the best AD Carries in the current meta.
We previewed it before Patch 10.8 dropped, but arguably this patch had the biggest impact on the ADC role compared to any of the other roles. It wasn’t just adjustments to ADCs in the pool, but also changes to kill experience (going down when splitting XP between two players early) that was sure to change how the ADC meta developed. Our latest League of Legends tier list certainly reflects that.
Our aggregated League of Legends tier list pulled data from ten different sites around the internet to see how they each ranked the top ADC in the current meta. From that, we are able to give our average ranking of each ADC that was graded or listed in at least half of those tier lists. Without further ado, our latest League of Legends tier list.

Dropping Picks
Cassiopeia
She was a rising pick last patch with the best win rate in the bot lane, but in our Patch 10.8 League of Legends tier list she has dropped from low-C to low-D tier. Her win rate has also dropped by over 2% from the last patch.
Underrated Picks
Yasuo is our pick for the most underrated ADC in Patch 10.8. Despite being in the A tier, he has a 2.1% pick rate. While it might seem odd to list Yasuo as a sleeper ADC pick with that not being his main role, his pick rate in the bot lane has steadily climbed in the past few patches. This might be a great time to start experimenting with the pick in the bot lane.
Overrated Picks
Both Kai’Sa and Varus have pick rates over 15% but are only B tier picks, making them our overrated picks for this patch. Champions like Ashe and Caitlyn should be higher priority, with both being higher rated but having a lower pick rate.
Buffed Champions
Ashe
More buffs to her Ranger’s Focus attack speed buff gave Ashe a minor buff, taking her from high-B tier into the A tier for this patch. She also saw a 5% pick rate improvement following the buff and no change in her win rate.
Tristana
A lot of players were excited to see Trist get a buff to her Explosive Charge’s damage, but the Bandal Gunner is still struggling on our ADC tier list. She did move up and her win rate is improved in Patch 10.8, but she is still in our C tier.
Xayah
Pro player may balk at Riot’s decision to buff Xayah, but the Rebel has been struggling in solo queue for a while now. Buffs to her Bladecaller gave her enough of a buff to jump from the C tier into the low-B tier for this patch. Her win rate and pick rate also both spiked in Patch 10.8, her win rate significantly by more than 2%.
Nerfed Champions
Aphelios
The Living Weapon got a boatload of nerfs including the damage ratio on all his guns and his passive stat gains. He’s gotten nerfs in the past so this round didn’t knock him out of the B tier, but he is now in danger of dropping to the C tier. His pick rate also dropped below 10% for the first time since his release.
Kalista
She got nerfs to her base armor and Rend slow to give her less safety in the early game (she lost 15% on her slow in level one Rend). These nerfs did drop Kalista’s win and pick rate slightly and knocked her down to borderline-C tier with Aphelios.
Senna
This one is a bit odd but I have to mention it because the nerfs in Patch 10.8, reducing the spawn rate on Mist Wraiths that Senna does not kill (which should theoretically be a nerf to her support strength only) actually had a far bigger impact on her ADC. That is to say, she is no longer rated by enough sites on the internet to even make our League of Legends tier list as an ADC.
Varus
Another quite strong ADC (though more so in pro play than solo queue), Varus got a nerf to his ult’s cooldown. As we noted, Varus is a very overrated pick in Patch 10.8. That said, his ranking (high-B tier) and win rate have not changed in this patch after the nerfs so his power level has not changed.
