League of Legends Tier List: The Best and Worst Supports in Patch 10.8
By Josh Tyler
Our latest League of Legends tier list for Patch 10.8 looks at the best supports in the current meta.
Patch 10.8 hit the AD Carries quite heavily, but now we must turn to the other half of the bot lane equation. Our League of Legends tier list now looks to see which of the supports were most helped and hurt by all the bot lane changes, as well as the few supports that got direct buffs and nerfs.
Our aggregated League of Legends tier list pulled data from ten different sites around the internet to see how they each ranked the top support in the current meta. From that, we are able to give our average ranking of each support that was graded or listed in at least half of those tier lists. Without further ado, our latest League of Legends tier list.

Dropping Picks
Fiddlesticks
The only support with a significant change in Patch 10.8 is the recently reworked Fiddlesticks. With another patch for players to get accustomed to his new kit, you would expect Fiddlesticks support’s win rate and ranking to improve. Unfortunately, he’s dropped down to the low-D tier and his win rate sits below 47% with just a 1.2% pick rate.
Underrated Picks
Both Janna and Nami have pick rates below 5% despite being rated in our A and A+ tiers, respectively. Both champions also have win rates above 51.5%, so you definitely can’t go wrong with either of these enchanter supports.
Overrated Picks
Sett may be a refreshing change of pace for supports to play, but his C tier ranking and 46.6% win rate does not justify him having a pick rate (8.4%) in the top ten for supports. Steer clear if you’re not having success bossing your lane opponents around the bot lane.
Buffed Champions
Soraka
A boost to her base mana and a decreased mana cost to her Starcall were supposed to give the Starchild more of a boost than just bringing her to mid-B tier and a 1.2% increase to her win rate.
Nerfed Champions
Sett
On top of being overrated as a support pick, Sett is also dealing with a nerf to the damage on his Haymaker. While he’s not being picked support for his damage output, but more his CC, this nerf certainly “helped” him get a bottom-five win rate in the support role.
Senna
Nerfing the Mist Wraith spawn chance on minions Senna doesn’t kill was targetted directly at her support power. While it did trim her power a tad, her win rate, pick rate, and ranking for the support role are basically unchanged in Patch 10.8.
