Here are the 5 best junglers on Patch 10.8 for carrying games and climbing the League of Legends solo queue ranked ladder!

Over the last few days, the LEC and LCS announced their 2020 Spring Split MVPs: Jankos and Blaber. With two junglers winning the biggest individual awards in their respective regions, it would come as no surprise if the number of solo queue junglers sky-rocketed on Patch 10.8 with their eyes set on the best junglers in the current meta.

The jungle role is all about control and creating a gold advantage for your team through the early game. Farming junglers have taken a backseat over recent seasons and now is the meta of perma-ganking and forcing opposition mistakes for free kills during the laning phase.

As a result, the 5 best junglers on Patch 10.8 all offer strong gank utility or high early damage which helps to dominate games from early on.

On Patch 10.8 you can lock in a tank or a damage dealer in the jungle as long as you’re a presence in the early game and can impact the map through ganks or winning the 1v1 with the enemy jungler.

Here are the 5 best junglers to carry with on Patch 10.8:

5) Warwick

52.01% Win Rate | 7.2% Pick Rate | 6.4% Ban Rate

Warwick’s early game damage, jungle clear, and ganks are all incredibly strong and the low skill floor of his kit makes him the perfect champion for first-time junglers.

To build a lead during the laning phase, take advantage of Warick’s fast jungle clear by looking for opportunities to gank every 30 seconds. Thanks to the easy to combo and wide range of Q – Jaws of the Beast and E – Primal Howl, even failed ganks are going to force opponents to blow summoner spells which can be taken advantage of later on.

Once you’ve helped your team get ahead in the early game, push your advantage by hunting down enemy squishies in team fights with R – Infinite Duress, pinning them to allow your teammates to burst the carry down and win the following 5v4.

4) Ekko

50.99% Win Rate | 10.0% Pick Rate | 18.5% Ban Rate

One of the surprise inclusions to the Season 10 jungle S tier has to be Ekko who has resided in our 5 best junglers list for the majority of 2020 so far.

Ekko is one of the few meta junglers that has something to offer during all stages of the game.

In the early game, the jungler can set up ganks with ease using W – Parallel Convergence and E – Phase Dive.

In the mid game, Ekko can control huge areas around key objectives by zoning with his W and Q – Timewinder.

As for the late game, Ekko can act as an assassin by diving the enemy carries and avoiding death with R – Chronobreak or split-push if his team is unlikely to win the 5v5.

3) Zac

52.19% Win Rate | 9.6% Pick Rate | 13.3% Ban Rate

Zac is the ultimate tank jungler on Patch 10.8. His jungler clear is excellent due to the AoE damage of W – Unstable Matter, his ganks are strong (after the first few levels) thanks to his massive E – Elastic Slingshot range, and he’s a menace in team fights with huge defensive stats and the displacement of R – Let’s Bounce!

When playing Zac you must be the primary engage tool for your team. Find areas of darkness and continuously look for opportunities to jump in with Elastic Slingshot, ideally when the enemy team is grouped up for maximum knock-ups.

If possible, hit Q – Stretching Strikes on a squishy carry to root and slow them, giving your team ample time to pounce.

2) Wukong

52.39% Win Rate | 6.4% Pick Rate | 23.6% Ban Rate

The Wukong rework continues to wreak havoc on the Rift with junglers finding as much success with the champion as top laners.

The Monkey King’s high base damage, dueling power, and ability to knock enemies up twice in a team fight with R – Cyclone all add up to create one of the strongest junglers on Patch 10.8.

1) Master Yi

51.38% Win Rate | 11.0% Pick Rate | 33.7% Ban Rate

Low elo King Master Yi continues to dominate the jungle meta at all ranks on Patch 10.8.

Unless facing a co-ordinated team with plenty of crowd control, the Wuju Bladesman can single-handedly win a team fight with extremely high DPS and the invulnerability of Q – Alpha Strike.

Although it was nerfed on the most recent patch, R – Highlander provides an incredible amount of bonus attack speed and bonus movement speed making it near impossible to shut down a fed Yi in the mid to late game.
