Choosing a main champion (or champions) is no easy task. It’s a bit of experimentation, finding a champion who fits your style and comfort zone, but for every player, there are a few champions that you will naturally fit with. If you’re still out there searching, never fret. We have the five best champions to main for each of the five roles so that you can climb faster in Season 10!

These main champions are pulled from the first eight patches of data from our Season 10 tier lists. Since these tier lists are based on data from Platinum and above, you can be assured that these champions are viable to climb into even the higher ranks. However, if you just want to get out of Bronze, Silver, or Gold, we’ve also made sure that these champions have solid win rates in the lower elos too.

While these champions are all very strong (they’re all averaging at least A+ tier during Season 10), we have also reviewed them to be sure that they are consistently strong picks (they have never fallen below A tier in any patch). This assures that these main champions will always be fairly viable and not subject to huge spikes in power.
