Rising Picks

Some champions got slight bumps to their rankings, but none were that significant as to raise them up a whole tier. The champion with the biggest rating change, though, was Lissandra who went from mid-C tier to low-B tier after her buffs this patch.

Dropping Picks

No big drops in our mid lane tier list either. The champion with the biggest drop in Patch 10.9 was Annie, but she only fell from mid to low-B tier.

Underrated Picks

Malzahar is the highest-rated champion in the mid lane with a pick rate under 2%, so he is our pick for this patch’s underrated pick.

Overrated Picks

Leblanc, Sylas, and Twisted Fate are all top-ten mid laners in terms of pick rate but are below A tier in this patch. However, none of them are as big offenders as Corki who has the fifth-highest pick rate in Platinum and above, but is rated low-C tier in our tier list. Only a single site rated Corki in their A tier, so avoid him in your ranked games.

Buffed Champions

Cho’Gath

The buffs to his Vorpal Spikes were, obviously, felt more in top than mid lane. He’s still right where he was last patch, down in high-D tier.

Lissandra

As noted above, the buffs to her Ice Shard’s cooldown helped her get back into the B tier and gave her the biggest boost of any mid laner this patch.
