New Honor 5 chromas are arriving with Patch 10.11 for honorable players
As far as new skins go, there are quite a few heading to League of Legends on Patch 10.11. Last week the player base received a look at the upcoming Astronaut skins and now a new selection of Honor 5 chromas has been announced, which will also be coming to the Rift on the next patch.
Twitch and Warwick are the champions receiving the new Honor 5 chromas as a reward for well-behaved players. Medieval Twitch is getting an Amethyst chroma and Gray Warwick is getting a Rose Quartz chroma. These are the second chromas added to these champions after last year’s Blue chromas.

To obtain either of these chromas, you first have to have unlocked either of the skins, which requires Honor level 5. Once you’ve reached that level, you will receive a capsule with a token and either a random emote or ward skin.
You can use this token to unlock one of the skins or one of the Honor 5 chromas. The Honor 5 rewards from last year are still available for those that missed out, but you can only unlock one of the chromas or skins, no more. This is a slight adaptation from last year’s Honor 5 rewards when players received two tokens instead.
In terms of the chromas themselves, they don’t look too enticing. Pink for Warwick and purple for Twitch are quite strange color choices considering the themes of the champions and I can’t see them being too popular among players, especially considering the steep climb to reach Honor level 5.
In my opinion, if Riot wants to encourage more positive gameplay and sportsmanship they should offer rewards that players want to strive for and hit Honor 5, not just an additional color for skins that are in dire need of visual upgrades. Sure, there are also icons to go along with the skins, but those don’t feel like a huge reward either, even if they are pretty sharp.
Playing with honor and sportsmanship during your League of Legends games is definitely recommended, even if you’re not a fan of the new rewards. There are other regular gifts, like honor capsules, that come along with being a sportsmanlike player, on top of these cool new chromas.
