League of Legends: Ranking All the Best Yasuo Skins
By Josh Tyler
We break down all of Yasuo’s skins to let you know which is the best to use!
He’s the bane of many solo queue games, the scourge of players proclaiming to be smurfs, but one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. Yasuo may have one of the most difficult kits and most dedicated player bases, but that hasn’t stopped him from receiving skins consistently since his release. With seven skins in the Unforgiven’s collection, let’s look at each of them to let you know which skin is the best.
7. Battle Boss Yasuo
Price: 1350 RP
It’s very rare to see Riot completely miss the mark on an Epic skin, let alone one that gives players so many new animations. The biggest problem I have here is that, thematically, this just doesn’t suit Yasuo at all.
The Arcade-universe skins are among my favorite and I would think the Unforgiven could make a great addition to these skins. Unfortunately, it just makes the champion seem cartoonish, none of the animations (while very well done) are that interesting, and as a whole the Battle Boss theme just doesn’t work.

6. High Noon Yasuo
Price: 975 RP
This is the first of Yasuo’s skins and the most basic of all of them. It’s really one of those pure re-skins of his original champion model, with no new notable effects or animations. There are some, which is why it’s priced higher than a regular skin, and for that reason I can’t recommend it even though the model looks nice.
5. Nightbringer Yasuo
Price: 1820 RP
I actually think the Nightbringer skin is very well done. My biggest problem is the price.
For 1820 RP, I think players should be getting a lot more bang for their buck. Yes, the skin comes with new animations, the smoke trailing off him as he walks is a nice effect, and the animations are updated. This just doesn’t feel epic enough to justify the price, even though this is a good skin.
4. True Damage Yasuo
Price: 1350 RP
Yasuo was probably the most-overlooked member of True Damage when their video was released, but this skin is actually quite good. It has a bunch of unique animations (I especially like him DJing during his recall and the bass thumping visible on his windwall). It’s not the best of his skins, but it’s most certainly not the worst.
3. Odyssey Yasuo
Price: 1350 RP
Now this is the skin that Battle Boss Yasuo should have been. With the funky colors and glistening aqua blade, Yasuo feels like he’s out of this world. Plus, the skin comes with some dope futuristic animations and chromas.
2. Blood Moon Yasuo
Price: 975 RP
This skin is tied with High Noon for the cheapest of his skins, but by God does it look beautiful. The dark red effects on his shield and the animations when he strikes are so freaking gorgeous as are the red petals coming off a target when he hits them with the tornadoes. It’s not incredibly unique, but the look and price push it to the number two spot.
1. PROJECT: Yasuo
Price: 1350 RP
The PROJECT skins are among the most popular skin sets in League of Legends and they do Yasuo justice with this skin. The theme of a futuristic, high-tech fighter fits the champion to a T, the skin gives you a lot of cool animations (in particular his windwall being a complex future computer screen), and the champion’s model and animations are so clean. I have nothing but good things to say about this skin and it’s fully worth the RP cost.
