Our LCS Week 2 player power ranking ranks the ADCs.

ADC

1. Edward “Tactical” Ra (Team Liquid)
2. Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng (TSM)
3. Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen (Cloud9)
4. Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen (Dignitas)

More from Editorials

The other big bright spot for Dignitas this split has been their still-improving, rookie ADC Johnsun. He has been carrying the mail for this team all year, with 45.5% of the teams kills and 31.7% of the team’s damage share. He also, remarkably, is the team’s only winning laner, averaging a 340 gold lead at 15 minutes.

This week, he really showed up in Dignitas’s loss to CLG, going 7/2/0 on Kalista. He built a 1,200 gold lead over his lane opponent Stixxay at 15 minutes, despite the fact that the rest of his team were a combined 1,800 gold behind.

5. Ian Victor “FBI” Huang (Golden Guardians)
6. Brandon “Mash” Phan (FlyQuest)

Only a few games into his return to the LCS “stage” and Mash has been quite impressive. He has an adjusted KDA of 10.00, dying only twice over the weekend. He was also one of the highest damage-dealers on the week, doing 650 DPM (643.3 aDPM) and ended the week with the highest damage-to-gold ratio. That said, he and support Ignar need to work on their communication, as the duo were massively behind in lane during their games this weekend.

7. Jason “WildTurtle” Tran (FlyQuest)
8. Bae “Bang” Jun-sik (Evil Geniuses)

It seems inconceivable that a top-two ADC like Bang could be rated this low in the LCS power ranking, especially given that he has a 10.5 aKDA through two weeks. However, despite Bang’s impressive KDA stats, he’s also got the second-worst kill participation (50%) and worst kill share (20.5%) of all AD Carries. Bang really hasn’t had to do much to help Evil Geniuses win.

What he has done in games, though, is hog resources with little return. Bang has received 31.6% of his teams CS after the laning phase, yet accounts for the third-lowest adjusted DPM of any ADC in the league (442.5). And all of this is on top of having some pretty mediocre (-18 GD at 15) and terrible (-8 CSD at 15) laning stats.

9. Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes (CLG)
10. Cody “Cody Sun” Sun (100 Thieves)
11. Johnny “Altec” Ru (Immortals)
