Seven new skins will be added to League of Legends on Patch 10.14

Patch 10.14 is bringing seven new skins to League of Legends as well as a Prestige Edition and a bunch of new chromas. Included in the PBE update are screenshots and prices for every new Arcanist and Infernal skin, accompanied by the highly-anticipated Conqueror Nautilus.

As disappointing as it was to see that FunPlus Phoenix’s Doinb had opted for a Malphite skin for his World Championship skin rather than the expected Nautilus, this is a pretty good consolation. Although the skin sticks to the default skin strategy of “plate him in armor and add some color”, it doesn’t look awful and gives Nautilus a long-awaited modern skin.

Compared to the previous three Conqueror skins, Nautilus’ iteration has a slightly darker color scheme. The skin is available for 975 RP and can be purchased as part of a bundle.

Three new skins will be added to the Infernal skin line on Patch 10.14 with Karthus, Kennen, and Vel’Koz being the recipients of the new cosmetics. Karthus’ skin looks a bit like a ghost reaper on fire with a relatively uninteresting color scheme. Infernal Karthus will cost 1350 RP and have six chromas available.

Infernal Kennen has some very cool visual effects, especially his flaming throwing stars, and is the highest quality Kennen skin on offer in terms of features and modern looks. The skin is available for 1350 RP and is accompanied by six chromas.

The final member of the new Infernal skin line is Infernal Vel’Koz, possibly the highest quality skin of the three arriving on Patch 10.14. Vel’Koz’s normal lasers are replaced by fire blasts and fireballs which, at just 1350 RP, may be worth the purchase alone. Infernal Vel’Koz will also be 1350 RP with six chromas available.

Arcanist is the second skin line to be updated on Patch 10.14 with Kog’Maw, Shaco, and Zoe receiving Arcanist skins. Arcanist Kog’Maw could be described as ‘cartooney’ which makes it unique and a fun option for the champion. It’s been a while since Kog’Maw’s last skin, so at 1350 RP, this could be a good purchase for marksman players. The skin also comes with eight chromas.

Arcanist Shaco is a modern skin for a champion deprived of recent cosmetics. Arcanist Shaco will cost 1350 RP and will have seven chromas.

Finally, Arcanist Zoe somehow makes the champion even cuter and more fun but could be considered annoying if you’re facing Zoe in lane. This skin also comes with a Prestige Edition and will be priced at 1350 RP.

Patch 10.14 is bringing a bunch of new skins to League of Legends including Conqueror Nautilus, three Infernal skins, and three Arcanist skins. It may not match the Steam Summer Sale but it’s definitely worth taking a look at the new cosmetics over the next fortnight!
