With Week 3 of LCS Summer 2020 over, we break down the best performers of the week in our player power ranking.

Now that Week 3 of LCS Summer 2020 has come to an end, we begin to see teams that are struggling make roster substitutions for their underperforming players. Already, Immortals and Dignitas have made player swaps with more to come from Dignitas and 100 Thieves. Today in our player rankings, we’ll break down how those replacement players did in their debuts and examine whether the potential substituted players are deserving of losing their spots.

Top Lane

More from Blog of Legends

1. Eric “Licorice” Ritchie (Cloud9)
2. Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho (100 Thieves)
3. Kim “Ruin” Hyeong-min (CLG)
4. Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik (TSM)
5. Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell (Golden Guardians)

Relax, Golden Guardians fans, Hauntzer hasn’t been rumored to be in danger of getting subbed out, though Golden Guardians probably could stand to look at tweaking their lineup since they sit at a 2-4 record. If the team is not willing to make roster changes, though, I would suggest that they start giving Hauntzer a bit more support and resources to their top lane.

In their win against FlyQuest as Jayce he out-damaged everyone on his team including his ADC, FBI, on Ezreal. This was despite most of the gold being funneled to FBI in that late game, an example of why he has one of the highest damage-to-gold ratios among all top laners, and the second-best on his team.

6. Ziqing “Kumo” Zhao (Evil Geniuses)
7. Colin “Solo” Earnest (FlyQuest)
8. Samson “Lourlo” Jackson (Dignitas)

In his first action back in the LCS since last summer when he was subbed in as top laner for Echo Fox, Lourlo looked serviceable in his two games. In particular, his Ornn game in their slug-fest against Team Liquid was very encouraging, as he went 2/0/3 and smacked Impact in multiple 1v1 situations.

9. Kieran “Allorim” Logue (Immortals)

It was truly a tale of two games last weekend for Allorim, who played in his first LCS action since last spring. In his debut game against Golden Guardians, he was rock solid (pun absolutely intended) on Malphite, going 2/1/9 to help Immortals to their first win. On Sunday, though, it was a different story as he went 0/7/0 on Aatrox and did under 200 damage per minute against Cloud9. Not to say that it was his fault, he got massively camped by C9’s mid and jungler, but that’s still a rough stat line.

10. Paul “sOAZ” Boyer (Immortals)
11. Jung “Impact” Eon-yeong (Team Liquid)
12. Omran “V1per” Shoura (Dignitas)
