This is a list of the 5 best bot laners in League of Legends on Patch 10.14

Scaling, scaling, scaling. The League of Legends bot lane meta has become increasingly stale throughout Season 10 so far as Aphelios, Ashe, and Senna top the ADC tier list. Now, there’s a shift in bot lane gameplay and the best bot laners are beginning to realize the potential of dominating lane with strong, early game marksmen.

On Patch 10.14, 2 of the most oppressive bot lane champions received heavy nerfs which opened up space for less popular carries to take their place. Ezreal’s Arcane Shift saw its cooldown increased by 2 seconds at all ranks, reducing his safety in lane, and Varus’ primary damage tool, Piercing Arrow, received yet another damage nerf.

Here are the 5 best bot laners on Patch 10.14:

5) Draven

51.40% Win Rate | 5.3% Pick Rate | 4.8% Ban Rate

Draven is back and is taking full advantage of the weak scaling carries that occupy the bot lane at the moment. The Glorious Executioner is perfect for solo queue players due to his ability to snowball games early, which is particularly strong in the current dragon rush meta.

4) Jhin

51.63% Win Rate | 12.0% Pick Rate | 1.2% Ban Rate

At number FOUR, it’s Jhin, who has made quite a rapid return to the bot lane over the last few patches. The Virtuoso combines early game damage, team fight utility, and late game mobility to form a versatile carry able to complete any team composition.

Jhin can be the key to unlocking major objectives for your team as he can open up with Curtain Call from safety and kick off a fight. Due to the ADC’s lack of escape tools, it’s imperative that his support keeps a close eye on him and removes the threat of diving assassins and bruisers.

3) Caitlyn

50.74% Win Rate | 14.3% Pick Rate | 7.5% Ban Rate

Success in solo queue is extremely dependent on building an early gold lead and snowballing it into objectives and kills. Caitlyn is one of the strongest bot laners in the game at doing exactly that.

During the laning phase, the Sheriff of Piltover is capable of limiting her lane opponents’ CS numbers through her superior attack range and presence. With this lead, the sharpshooter can then control objectives with Yordle Snap Traps, forcing the enemy team to find alternate routes or take a ton of damage.

2) Vayne

50.96% Win Rate | 12.7% Pick Rate | 11.3% Ban Rate

Tired of relying on your team to win? Want to take games into your own hands? Vayne is the ADC for you. The Night Hunter is one of the few marksmen in the game with ridiculous outplay potential at every stage of the game and she is even capable of the odd 1v5 in late game team fights in the right hands.

When playing Vayne, just be patient. Your low attack range forces you to play closer to the enemy team, but if you choose your fights wisely and wait for your moment to strike, this should be no problem at all.

1) Ashe

53.07% Win Rate | 20.8% Pick Rate | 6.4% Ban Rate

Ashe has suddenly become the Queen of the bot lane after Aphelios, Ezreal, and Varus have all disappeared over recent patches. Obviously, the Frost Archer’s main strength is her excellent late game DPS, but another important factor in her remarkable 53.07% win rate is her ability to find picks in the mid game with Enchanted Crystal Arrow.
