This is a list of the 5 best top laners in League of Legends on Patch 10.15

Carrying games from the top lane in League of Legends involves intelligent trading with your lane opponent, wave management, and waiting patiently for opportunities to spread your gold lead across the map. The best top laners on Patch 10.15 combine all three attributes and, as a result, boast incredibly high win rates in solo queue.

Three top laners received changes on Patch 10.15, one of which features in our “5 best top laners” list.

Irelia’s passive attack speed per stack was increased later on in the game, allowing her to trade aggressively in side lanes and teamfights. Ornn’s base armor was reduced, making him more vulnerable during the laning phase. And Shen’s passive shield was raised by 20 at all levels for better trading early on.

Here are the 5 best top laners on Patch 10.15:

5) Wukong

51.34% Win Rate | 5.5% Pick Rate | 7.9% Ban Rate

Since his Patch 10.16 gameplay update, Wukong has topped the charts in multiple roles, none more than the top lane. The Monkey King dominates his opponents both during the laning phase and in teamfights thanks to his excellent Crushing Blow damage and Cyclone crowd control.

4) Garen

51.00% Win Rate | 7.4% Pick Rate | 6.8% Ban Rate

Garen’s lane sustain and inherent tanky stats are a menace to top lane mains as evidenced by his excellent 51.00% win rate and relatively high 6.8% ban rate.

During the laning phase, the Might of Demacia can outplay and frustrate opponents with a lengthy Decisive Strike silence. During teamfights, the top laner excels at running down enemy carries and whittling their health bars down with Judgment.

3) Volibear

50.14% Win Rate | 5.8% Pick Rate | 26.6% Ban Rate

The Patch 10.11 Volibear rework has given the champion a new identity and rejuvenated his popularity on the Rift. Now, the Relentless Storm is an unstoppable force both in the top lane and jungle, capable of single-handedly dictating teamfights with Stormbringer.

2) Shen

52.42% Win Rate | 9.4% Pick Rate | 3.1% Ban Rate

Shen has Shadow Dashed up the top lane tier list following his Patch 10.15 Ki Barrier buff. Now, the Eye of Twilight is capable of providing key crowd control during teamfights, creating a numbers advantage during early skirmishes, and trading aggressively with his lane opponent to build an early gold lead.

1) Darius

50.97% Win Rate | 8.2% Pick Rate | 44.5% Ban Rate

The Hand of Noxus continues to decimate his top lane opponents, something we’ve become so used to seeing throughout Season 10. Unmoved and untouched, Darius slices through enemy laners with ease, setting up ganks with Apprehend, and reducing their health bar to nothing with Decimate.
