Worlds 2020: Where, When, and How to Watch the Play-In Knockouts
By Josh Tyler
The play-in stage of Worlds 2020 moves on from the play-in group stage to the knockout round.
The play-in stage of Worlds 2020 is complete, sort of, with the group stage having come to a close today. Two teams – INTZ and V3 Esports – have been eliminated from the tournament and two others – Team Liquid and PSG Talon – have already qualified for the group stage. Two spots remain in the Worlds 2020 group stage, to be decided by the victors of the knockout round of play-ins. Here is where and when you can catch all the action.

Predictions
For the elimination series tomorrow, I’m going to still go with the two representatives from the LPL (LGD Gaming) and the LEC (MAD Lions). In a best of five series, I still think that these uber-talented teams with more veteran players will ultimately prevail as they’ll be better able to adapt to their opponents.
In the second round of games, I actually think there is a decent chance that we could get an “upset” of either LGD or MAD Lions. Between the two, I think UoL has the better team, but LGD has been the weaker team during the group stage. I’ll give the upset to Legacy Esports, as LGD will buckle to the pressure of Chinese fans and fail to make it out of the play-in stage. Either way, it should be a great series to watch!
