*The winning team is in bold

Game 1: Rainbow7 vs. LGD – Oh hi Mark

The story of Game 1 was unquestionably LGD’s support, who made beautiful engage after engage on Rakan. He ended the game with an 0/0/13 scoreline and participation on 13 of 14 kills.

Game 2: Rainbow7 vs. LGD – Pick after pick

The game was fairly close for the first 15 minutes or so, with LGD holding a slight gold lead. However, several picks on R7 players in the LGD jungle ultimately cost them the game.

Game 3: LGD vs. Rainbow7 – Overextended then over

This was probably the most frustrating game for LLA fans because Rainbow7 were actually ahead (slightly) with a team that should outscale (Orianna plus Kayle and Senna), but they repeatedly got caught in the side lanes overextending for objectives. LGD was quick to collapse and start fights with their long-range initiation (Ornn, Jhin, Leona) and end the series.

MVP of the Series

Ling “Mark” Xu (LGD Gaming, Support)

The MVP of Game 1, for sure, Mark turned in two solid Leona games (1/1/4 in Game 2 and 2/1/10 in Game 3) to help propel LGD to the next round. While Peanut and xiye also had standout performances, unfortunately they also had a big problem getting picked out in Game 3 that nearly prolonged the series.
