Seraphine, the Starry-Eyed Songstress, is the next League of Legends champion

Riot Games has revealed a huge set of in-game content dedicated to virtual pop girl group, K/DA, and their upcoming EP, ALL OUT. There’s a new skin line, a Legends of Runeterra Event Pass, and a bunch of TFT Little Legends to look forward to over the coming weeks. However, the most exciting announcement was undoubtedly the new League of Legends champion, Seraphine.

Seraphine, the social media “personality”, has been teasing a collaboration with K/DA since joining Twitter in June and this led many League of Legends fans to believe that the pink-haired musician was destined to be added to the game before the end of the year.

Riot Games has now confirmed those suspicions by releasing an official event teaser for the K/DA ALL OUT EP during which the Ultimate skin, K/DA ALL OUT Seraphine, can be spotted on both Summoner’s Rift and Legends of Runeterra.

It is often the case that the player base dictates a new champion’s position depending on their kit or the state of the meta at the point of release. Nonetheless, League of Legends has stated that the Starry-Eyed Songstress is intended to be played in either the mid lane or support role.

Seraphine will make her League of Legends debut on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) from Tuesday, 13 October in preparation for her official release, most likely during Patch 10.22.

The sixth Ultimate skin released by League of Legends will be K/DA ALL OUT Seraphine, available for 3250 RP after the champion is released. The skin will feature three separate forms showcasing a different stage of Seraphine’s career from indie performer to rising star to superstar.
