The scourge of low elo, Blitzcrank is one of the most iconic and popular supports for players who don’t play the role. With his rocket grab and AoE, shield-breaking silence, the Great Steam Golem is a champion that can easily change the course of any teamfight. For those support enthusiasts, or players who need a skin for their favorite champ when auto-filled, let’s break down each of Blitz’s skins and rank them from worst to best!

10. Rusty Blitzcrank
Price: 520 RP
Can we even really call this a Blitzcrank skin? I know I criticize some skins for just being a coat of paint on the champion model, but this isn’t even that. The skin is a different hue from the base model’s color and nothing else. The only reason to consider getting this skin is that it’s rare, but otherwise, this has no redeeming value.
9. Piltover Customs Blitzcrank
Price: 1350 RP
“This is a good-looking skin!” you may protest. “How can you rate Piltover Customs Blitz this low?” Simple, the value just isn’t there.
Yes, this skin looks fantastic but with no new effects or animations, this is a glorified paint job. And paying 1350 RP for a nice paint job just doesn’t cut it.
8. Goalkeeper Blitzcrank
Price: 520 RP
At least this paint job skin has more detail than Rusty Blitzcrank. And it’s cheap. Other than that I have nothing for you.
7. Riot Blitzcrank
Price: 975 RP
The Riot skins are almost always incredibly underwhelming and Blitz’s is no exception. There is more detail to this skin than Goalkeeper or Rusty Blitzcrank, but it’s still a bit too high-priced for what you’re getting.
6. Definitely Not Blitzcrank
Price: 975 RP
Although the memes are quite funny and the splash art is amazing, this skin is still a very basic paint job. No new effects, no new animations, and a high price point keep this one from cracking the top tier.
5. Lancer Rogue and Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank
Price: 1350 RP
We’ll count these two skins together since they’re basically opposite sides of the same coin and all the points in the favor of one (cool champion model design, new effects and animations, including a really cool recall animation) count for the other. Even though these are nice skins, they just don’t have enough “pop” to really put them out in front of the pack.
4. Boom Boom Blitzcrank
Price: 520 RP
The best value Blitzcrank skin, by far. This may be nothing but a coat of paint, but the Boom Boom skin is just so damn wonky and cool, making his hands look like giant boxing gloves, that it’s worth the very low price to indulge in this cartoonish fantasy.
3. Witch’s Brew Blitzcrank
Price: 1350RP
Blitz’s newest skin and a fantastic choice when Halloween season rolls around, this skin has all the fixings that you would expect from a newer, high-priced skin. With cool animations and a unique, purple effect on his abilities with bats flying everywhere, this is a solid addition to your skin collection.
2. Battle Boss Blitzcrank
Price: 1350 RP
I love the 8-bit animation style and it works exceptionally well on Blitz’s kit. I love the look on his ultimate, Static Field, but it’s nothing compared to the Space Invader-style coils on his Rocket Grab. With bright colors and fun new effects and animations, this is one of the best skins you can get for the Great Steam Golem.

1. iBlitzcrank
Price: 1350 RP
Easily the most recognizable of Blitzcrank’s skins, the futuristic, chrome exoskeleton makes the Great Steam Golem look sleek and futuristic. Though it leaves a lot wanting in terms of new animations and effects, the pulse beam effect on his Rocket Hand is enough to push iBlitzcrank to the top of this list.
