Here’s all you need to know about the LPL’s 2020 Demacia Cup.

Before the 2021 League of Legends professional series kicks off, the Chinese teams will compete in the Demacia Cup, taking place during the same time as Korea’s KeSPA Cup. The tournament features all 17 teams from China’s professional league, the LPL, as well as the top three independent LDL teams (China’s equivalent to Academy), and four amateur teams.

The LPL’s four Worlds participants – Top Esports, JD Gaming, Suning, and LGD Gaming – are automatically seeded into the semifinals, while the remaining teams are drafted into four groups of five teams. The teams will then participate in a best-of-one, single round-robin, with the winner of each group advancing to the bracket stage for best-of-five single-elimination play. If you’re interested in watching, here’s when and how you can watch.
