Here are the best League of Legends skins to get you in the Christmas spirit.

For those who celebrate, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. For those who play League of Legends, it’s time to get into the holiday spirit by busting out their favorite skins from the Snowdown Showdown of years past.

Every year since League of Legends’s release back in 2009, Riot has introduced new skins that are all about the spirit of the season. For those not celebrating, not to worry, the Snowdown Showdown also features plenty of general wintery skins for your pleasure. Unfortunately, with many of these skins being in the legacy vault, many new players will have to wait a bit longer if they want to find a seasonal skin.

Today, we’re going through all 44 of the skins that have been released in the Snowdown Showdown to let you know which of these holiday skins are the best and most festive. Skins will be judged based on their Christmas spirit, cost, and legacy.

44. Nutcracko

Price: 975 RP

If it wasn’t for the name, would you really have any idea that Shaco was supposed to be the Nutcracker? There are no indications, other than his splash art, that this skin is even tangentially related to Christmas, which is a shame because the potential to make this skin work was there.

43. Toy Soldier Gangplank

Price: 975 RP

The only reason he’s placed higher than Nutcracko is the little wind-up gear on his back. At least that makes it clear that he’s supposed to be a toy. Otherwise, there is no indication that this is a Christmas skin.

42. Snowbunny Nidalee

Price: 520 RP

This is a fairly basic, cheap skin that does have Nidalee in some cold-weather garb. Unfortunately, it’s not very seasonal and has no new animations or effects.

41. Mistletoe Leblanc

Price: 975 RP

I mean, she has a red cape. And her name has the word “mistletoe” in it. Other than that, no reason to think this is a winter skin, let alone one for the holidays.
